Thanks Taylor...Thanks Ed.... Thanks... a lovely bunch of people..... Ok... Feeelsss! 1. Storyline 2. Emotion 3. His voice/interpretation 4. Giriboy itself 5. MV all 5..... 10 out of 10!.... When the song make you shed a tear.... Wow... Is it based on a true story?... like - is it from his personal experience (probably/absolutely not)... But then, how is even possible that one can interpret a song lyrics so convincingly... and so... very.... truly... truthfully.... raw... And by raw, I mean - from the bottom of one's heart... So sad, and wonderful at the same time... Actually, this song is a cover of 'Take care of me' by Swings... It's the same melody, but the lyrics are different... Even tho... I like it...so very much! For me - Giriboy's ver. is a little bit softer and a bit more romantic... I have no choice, but to welcome Giriboy on my 'CuteRappers' list... Iron and Beenzino got company :)

. . . Needed to share this song, and my first impression of it rn...myeah...
I was very excited when SMEnt. announced Jonghyun's solo ablum release. Last year they gave that chance to another member of Shinee - we all remember how pleasantly surprised I was with Taemin's album - it's concept and, in general... content that has been delivered - great dance skills, wonderful - meaningful lyrics, catchy and groovy music... Taemin (FairyMan) wanted to show his other (manly) side to us... And if you ask me - He succeeded..... big time success!
That's the reason I believed Jonghyun's comeback will be really something - considering that: he's Shinee's gold vocal; he's older than Taemin; he's (musically) much more experienced; and he always tended to be the sexiest Shinee's member.
To make a long story short - I expected more.
To be honest - I waited for this song to grew on me a little bit, cause...guys, my first impression was
and I just didn't wanted to bash Jonghyun(cuz I knew my feels gonna change eventually). The fact is that the (title) song is good - production wise( very very good- to be exact)... The thing is - I expected he'd focus more on his incredible vocal talent, rather than a sexy, seductive appearance... I wanted to hear Jonghyun - a great singer! All he gave us is shirtlessness, lip rubbing, sexy/charismatic gaze - and that's something we already know about him. I wanted mature singer content. Next Jonghyun's level, you know, overall.
Even the fact that he have Iron featuring in the title song (omg, you know how much I love and support Iron) wasn't enough for me to embrace this song...at first. Basically, I anticipated something fresh and new.
However... Today I played it few more times (just to be sure)...and magically, I started to kinda like it... Rather than a whole package, there are few things that I find interesting and cool.
Firstly, collab between J. and Iron - unexpected... captivating tho.
Chorus is the liveliest part of the song -I like the music and lyrics of it(nice instrument combo....and the first part is so Henry's 'Trap' alike - piano part - it has become a sample obv). It makes you kinda wake up, in case you fall asleep during the verses - cuz they are quite flat... His high notes make the song not so easy to sing along - but that's exactly why I love his voice and skills - unique shizzz, too bad he showed 40% of it...
The lyrics, on the other hand - very nice interpretation of a crazy/guilty pleasure feeling... Little repetitive, but nice(read here).
And I can't help it, but hear -I'm SORRY to you- every time he sings -I'm so INTO you...don't know why...he's English, is actually, ok...
The MV - good, but it could have been so much better.(that spider tho, expensive prop)
Iron's rap part/appearance - cute... At first -I was like -maybe I'm not satisfied with what I hear, but I'm definitely satisfied with what I see!!! Both of them are very attractive.
I still have a feeling that something's missing in this song. Something is weak. Like nothing is in full power mode - music, vocal, even rap...it's simply leveled down.
But, like I said, I'm diggin it, because of the reasons. :)

I'm a big fan.
Onew's post-surgery/recovery time is, probably, the reason why SM gave them opportunity to make/have solo albums/activities, but yeah... Until the Shinee's comeback - we're gonna enjoy members's solo performances.
This is different from what Shinee does musically, but it's a style that Jonghyun like, so yeah...it suits him, for sure.
I still like Taemin's 'Danger' more than 'Crazy'...Oops!

Nakon prvih par sekundi, već mi je jasno da ne smem da trepnem, jer ću, u suprotnom, nešto propustiti. Brzinom svetlosti se menjaju slike, boje, kadrovi - crno, belo, zlatno, crveno... Rečju - overwhelming. Zaustavi video, vrti ti se u glavi - mislim se...
I sada, ima tu nekih stepenica, stolica, fotelja, auta(još uvek čekam da to sa automobilima prestane da bude in... nepodnošljiva tradicija spotova ovog tipa/žanra... vi get it, ju ar(vana bi) rič es f*k...) i ostalih stvarčica tipičnih za ovaj muzički pravac, na koje smo već, hteli, ne hteli, navikli... Ali mi zapadne za oko onaj improvizovani hodnik - ulaz u klub(aj ges) i vizuelna sličnost sa 'Born Hater'-toaletom, isti odnos sa kamerom - 'unošenje u lice' kameri... Ali kada bolje razmislim, to je standard - ne mogu oni sada izmisliti toplu vodu. Nastavim...

Tu su još neki, jelte, poznati muzičari(?), od kojih jedino znam za (i to po imenu, ne po liku) Teddy-ja (i to kao YGmuzičkogproducenta)... iako on beše član '1TYM' grupe, ali ne poznajem njihov rad uopšte...gilti). Dalje...
Kkkkk... Čak su i barbie i ken istetovirani... Kamera na povocu (2:30) - miningful mač.
Biciklisti i taj vajb - to mi je ok, dopada mi se.
Veliku pažnju je privukao Bobby-jev pogled na grudi jedne od devojaka u spotu. Vaj??? Nemam blage. Kids! Dok se, recimo, na nekoliko palica (koje su tu kao simbol moći(?), privju tuče - prebijanje druge osobe do krvi/smrti neretko) gleda potpuno ravnodušno... Pa to je sastavni deo hiphop kulture, ha? Nasilje i to, zar ne???... Deco draga-budućnosti ovog sveta! (a i ovi koji to promovišu) - Preispitajte sistem vrednosti. Ne smatram da je poenta spota u promovisanju agresije, ali ovi (i slični) rekviziti ne pomažu baš mnogo, složićete se, prilikom 'pranja ruku' od pro-nasilnih metoda/stavova. Moglo je i bez toga. Mogli su da iskuliraju trend. I time pokažu nešto više, vrednije, važnije. Ovako... Samo trend. Radi trenda. A posledice... Ma koga još posledice zanimaju? Da ne spominjem momenat na 1:48...Ono kao, NO! (ili još bolje: That's NO-NO!)... One su, u stvari, popadale u nesvest zbog neodoljivog šarma mlađanog Bobby-ja.(Predavanje o tome 'da posledice postaju uzroci, a uzroci dovode do novih posledica' je završeno. Hvala na pažnji. (društveno angažovano pisanije u tekstu o kpop-u...what is my life...)
Tekst - Pesma počinje refrenom. Od prvog sekunda - punom snagom - do prve strofe. Pa kaže(slobodan prevod): Imaš nešto da mi kažeš? Dođi (o)vamo! Aha, kapiram...Dođi ovamo! Malo je nezgodno ovde, a! Ajd' izađi napolje (pa da rešimo to)!(pokušaj da zvučim što je šabanskije moguće)... Refen ne može da ne bude shvaćen kao izazivački. Što, opet, vodi suštini prethodnog pasusa... Ali, avaj... Da se vratimo ostatku teksta - Dok2 svoju, Bobby svoju, Masta Wu svoju politiku vodi. Isti pristup - obraćanje kolegi (reperu) neprijatelju. Pitanje. Ko je, za ime sveta, TAJ neprijatelj iz branše što ih toliko ljuti? Koliko vidimo, u poslednje vreme se nižu kolaboracije i fičurinzi (među zvučnijim khip-hop imenima) - Illionaire feat. YG feat. AOMG feat... Ima, najver, raznih koji ih uzmu na zub u svojim tekstovima, ali ono...vaj badr vit boranija. Svejedno, oni svoj posao rade kako treba, osim ovih par zamerki što izrekoh... Super zanimljiv punch line iz prelaza: Ya, ya, ya, ya - uvredljivo 'ej/ često se koristi i kao zamena za psovku.
Brdo brendirane odeće - hir vi go agen...(Da li) Baš mora da se istakne svaki Burberry, svaki Supreme, i ostalo, tako glasno? Imamo čak i fuziju, oličenu u Kate Moss (poznati Burberry-jev model) u Supreme majici, doduše u vidu iscepanog postera u kadru sa Bobby-jem, ali svejedno - message received and understood. Sigurno se provuklo još, ko zna koliko brendova, za koje ja nemam pojma da su trenutni must have brendovi. Kao što je, na primer, facemask-kapa(?) koju nosi Masta Wu, deo militari kolekcije online prodavnice Black Scale...pokaza nam on sve detalje na 0:17... Ostali odevni predmeti su ok.
Muzika - Uživancija...(minus iritantne sirene, ali uklopile su se, i tako...). Da postoji koreografija, sigurna sam da bi bila opako dobra (muzika je u tom smislu, vrlo inspirativna). Pomalo isprekidan tok. Tačnije, delovi (ja ukupno prepoznah tri), naizmenično se više 'kače', nego što se nadovezuju jedan na drugi (što prati podelu strofa, prelaza, i refrena, pa ima i smisla). Moderno i slušljivo. Kao što rekoh - Prvi sekund - refren. Ništa intro, ništa postepeno uvođenje u pesmu, odmah bum. Ovo je obrada istoimene Masta Wu-ove pesme, upakovane u YG-jev hiphop projekat...kažu upućeni. Original nisam poslušala. U svakom slučaju, nisam očekivala da će glas MW-a zvučati tako...(paz' sad neodgovarajućih sinonima) sveže, pitko, mlado....NEISTROŠENO '- je prava reč... Nemam pojma, očekivala sam... nešto drugo. A ono, čovek super zvuči. Jedan od onih jedinstvenih glasova, koji izvođača čine prepoznatljivim... Kao što je, uostalom, slučaj i sa drugom dvojicom.

E ovo mi je na prvo gledanje/slušanje bila totalna bizarnost. A onda pogledah tekst. Kad tamo ništa... A, u stvari (pop!gasa kaže), tekst ide: 'I'm on the top, so I'm roaring, and crushing it', što zvuči kao da Bobby izgovara: I'm on the top like Barack and Bush (to mu je i bila namera, pretpostavljam, odatle i fotka-maska). Reč 'buhruhk' znači naljutiti se (to get angry, a preveli su kao roaring), dok reč 'booshida' znači (po)lomiti (to break/to crush) - prva zvuči kao Barak, a druga kao Buš. Igra rečima. Bravo Bobby. Ko još nalazi da yayayayayaya u pozadini(negde pri kraju pesme) ima moć da igra po ganglijama...?

U prvi mah me je deo 'iri... iriwabwa' podsetio na pesmu 'Justice' (besramno ubacujem/promovišem ovu tako potcenjenu grupu... kaz aj ken). Volim.
