1. SoYou (Sistar) x JunggiGo Immediately after its release (February 7) 'Some' ranked #1 on all major music charts. The secret of success - relatable lyrics and really good vocals...nice music too. Let's not forget Dasom and Baro who starred in the MV, and portrayed a lovey-dovey couple.
2. San E x Raina (After School) The song with a really long title - 'A Midsummer Night's Sweetness' - was released on June 12, and it was one of the greatest summer hits(suitable) of the year. Those two are so cute in the MV. Actually, San E is more like... dorky-cute. 'Rap Genius's being silly...as always...
3. Nasty Nasty (ZEA x Nine Muses) That unit's name tho!!!The first official sub-group of Star Empire Ent., composed of Kevin, Kyungri and Sojin(trainee) debuted on September 3, with a title track 'Knock'. The MV is ...almost 18+. The actual music/melody/rhythm is what I like the most. And the dance choreo is nicely done...
4. Leo(VIXX) x Lyn One of my fav songs from the list - 'Blossom Tears'. I mean...L E O!... Just kidding. Both are extremely talented vocals. The way he's acting acting...really into it. Big fan of the MV!(creepy) Where's that shy Leo everyone's talking about now, ha?
5. Epik High x other rappers 'Born Hater' - the story about 7 deadly sins - one of my favorite songs of the YEAR... along with 11 other songs from Epik High's album 'Shoebox'... Such a creative way to preach - through the power of music. EH's little helpers: Mino, B.I, Bobby, Verbal Jint, and Beenzino. One word - Epic!
6. Jung In x Gary Oooohh, how much I love this song.. Cheeky lyrics + Jung In's unique and wonderful voice + Gary's rap (and singing attempt...which was (btw) sweet little surprise) + beautifully (yet not pretentiously) filmed MV = great song!!! Autumn vibes! 'Bicycle' jjang!
7. Hi Suhyun Two lovely ladies with great vocal skills... and one eye smiling bunny... kkkkk. What I really meant to say is: Solo artist- Lee Hi, member of 'Akdong Musician'(AKMU) duo - Lee Suhyun, and rapper - Bobby (iKON). 'I'm different' is nothing but a mood booster song!
8. Hyorin (Sistar) x JooYoung What can I say! When all the pieces fall into place - we get 'Erase'. Hyorin has such a precious... moving voice. I'm proud of Soulgab, he is getting there... And I'm happy for Iron (he's featuring in 'Erase' with a short rap part).
9. GD x Taeyang Recent collab that fans across the world seem to be in love with... As for me - I like it. Put your hand in the air. How y'all feeling out there. We gon' party over here... 'Good boy' by good boys.
10. JoonYoung x Younha 'Just The Way You Are' didn't gain much attention... Not sure why... Anyway, I love it. The lyrics are amazing. Great song by funny rocker and cute fairy.

Nakon prvih par sekundi, već mi je jasno da ne smem da trepnem, jer ću, u suprotnom, nešto propustiti. Brzinom svetlosti se menjaju slike, boje, kadrovi - crno, belo, zlatno, crveno... Rečju - overwhelming. Zaustavi video, vrti ti se u glavi - mislim se...
I sada, ima tu nekih stepenica, stolica, fotelja, auta(još uvek čekam da to sa automobilima prestane da bude in... nepodnošljiva tradicija spotova ovog tipa/žanra... vi get it, ju ar(vana bi) rič es f*k...) i ostalih stvarčica tipičnih za ovaj muzički pravac, na koje smo već, hteli, ne hteli, navikli... Ali mi zapadne za oko onaj improvizovani hodnik - ulaz u klub(aj ges) i vizuelna sličnost sa 'Born Hater'-toaletom, isti odnos sa kamerom - 'unošenje u lice' kameri... Ali kada bolje razmislim, to je standard - ne mogu oni sada izmisliti toplu vodu. Nastavim...

...palo je 'mahanje novčanicama'... bez toga retko koji video može da prođe... Pamtim iz Beenzino-ovog 'How Do I Look' mv-a... smesnomi
... simpatičan mi video, od tog momenta... (misija: raznim appearance-ima privući veću pažnju, im je uspela). Tu su još neki, jelte, poznati muzičari(?), od kojih jedino znam za (i to po imenu, ne po liku) Teddy-ja (i to kao YGmuzičkogproducenta)... iako on beše član '1TYM' grupe, ali ne poznajem njihov rad uopšte...gilti). Dalje...
Kkkkk... Čak su i barbie i ken istetovirani... Kamera na povocu (2:30) - miningful mač.
Biciklisti i taj vajb - to mi je ok, dopada mi se.
Veliku pažnju je privukao Bobby-jev pogled na grudi jedne od devojaka u spotu. Vaj??? Nemam blage. Kids! Dok se, recimo, na nekoliko palica (koje su tu kao simbol moći(?), privju tuče - prebijanje druge osobe do krvi/smrti neretko) gleda potpuno ravnodušno... Pa to je sastavni deo hiphop kulture, ha? Nasilje i to, zar ne???... Deco draga-budućnosti ovog sveta! (a i ovi koji to promovišu) - Preispitajte sistem vrednosti. Ne smatram da je poenta spota u promovisanju agresije, ali ovi (i slični) rekviziti ne pomažu baš mnogo, složićete se, prilikom 'pranja ruku' od pro-nasilnih metoda/stavova. Moglo je i bez toga. Mogli su da iskuliraju trend. I time pokažu nešto više, vrednije, važnije. Ovako... Samo trend. Radi trenda. A posledice... Ma koga još posledice zanimaju? Da ne spominjem momenat na 1:48...Ono kao, NO! (ili još bolje: That's NO-NO!)... One su, u stvari, popadale u nesvest zbog neodoljivog šarma mlađanog Bobby-ja.(Predavanje o tome 'da posledice postaju uzroci, a uzroci dovode do novih posledica' je završeno. Hvala na pažnji. (društveno angažovano pisanije u tekstu o kpop-u...what is my life...)
Tekst - Pesma počinje refrenom. Od prvog sekunda - punom snagom - do prve strofe. Pa kaže(slobodan prevod): Imaš nešto da mi kažeš? Dođi (o)vamo! Aha, kapiram...Dođi ovamo! Malo je nezgodno ovde, a! Ajd' izađi napolje (pa da rešimo to)!(pokušaj da zvučim što je šabanskije moguće)... Refen ne može da ne bude shvaćen kao izazivački. Što, opet, vodi suštini prethodnog pasusa... Ali, avaj... Da se vratimo ostatku teksta - Dok2 svoju, Bobby svoju, Masta Wu svoju politiku vodi. Isti pristup - obraćanje kolegi (reperu) neprijatelju. Pitanje. Ko je, za ime sveta, TAJ neprijatelj iz branše što ih toliko ljuti? Koliko vidimo, u poslednje vreme se nižu kolaboracije i fičurinzi (među zvučnijim khip-hop imenima) - Illionaire feat. YG feat. AOMG feat... Ima, najver, raznih koji ih uzmu na zub u svojim tekstovima, ali ono...vaj badr vit boranija. Svejedno, oni svoj posao rade kako treba, osim ovih par zamerki što izrekoh... Super zanimljiv punch line iz prelaza: Ya, ya, ya, ya - uvredljivo 'ej/ često se koristi i kao zamena za psovku.
Brdo brendirane odeće - hir vi go agen...(Da li) Baš mora da se istakne svaki Burberry, svaki Supreme, i ostalo, tako glasno? Imamo čak i fuziju, oličenu u Kate Moss (poznati Burberry-jev model) u Supreme majici, doduše u vidu iscepanog postera u kadru sa Bobby-jem, ali svejedno - message received and understood. Sigurno se provuklo još, ko zna koliko brendova, za koje ja nemam pojma da su trenutni must have brendovi. Kao što je, na primer, facemask-kapa(?) koju nosi Masta Wu, deo militari kolekcije online prodavnice Black Scale...pokaza nam on sve detalje na 0:17... Ostali odevni predmeti su ok.
Muzika - Uživancija...(minus iritantne sirene, ali uklopile su se, i tako...). Da postoji koreografija, sigurna sam da bi bila opako dobra (muzika je u tom smislu, vrlo inspirativna). Pomalo isprekidan tok. Tačnije, delovi (ja ukupno prepoznah tri), naizmenično se više 'kače', nego što se nadovezuju jedan na drugi (što prati podelu strofa, prelaza, i refrena, pa ima i smisla). Moderno i slušljivo. Kao što rekoh - Prvi sekund - refren. Ništa intro, ništa postepeno uvođenje u pesmu, odmah bum. Ovo je obrada istoimene Masta Wu-ove pesme, upakovane u YG-jev hiphop projekat...kažu upućeni. Original nisam poslušala. U svakom slučaju, nisam očekivala da će glas MW-a zvučati tako...(paz' sad neodgovarajućih sinonima) sveže, pitko, mlado....NEISTROŠENO '- je prava reč... Nemam pojma, očekivala sam... nešto drugo. A ono, čovek super zvuči. Jedan od onih jedinstvenih glasova, koji izvođača čine prepoznatljivim... Kao što je, uostalom, slučaj i sa drugom dvojicom.

E ovo mi je na prvo gledanje/slušanje bila totalna bizarnost. A onda pogledah tekst. Kad tamo ništa... A, u stvari (pop!gasa kaže), tekst ide: 'I'm on the top, so I'm roaring, and crushing it', što zvuči kao da Bobby izgovara: I'm on the top like Barack and Bush (to mu je i bila namera, pretpostavljam, odatle i fotka-maska). Reč 'buhruhk' znači naljutiti se (to get angry, a preveli su kao roaring), dok reč 'booshida' znači (po)lomiti (to break/to crush) - prva zvuči kao Barak, a druga kao Buš. Igra rečima. Bravo Bobby. Ko još nalazi da yayayayayaya u pozadini(negde pri kraju pesme) ima moć da igra po ganglijama...?

U prvi mah me je deo 'iri... iriwabwa' podsetio na pesmu 'Justice' (besramno ubacujem/promovišem ovu tako potcenjenu grupu... kaz aj ken). Volim.

JB's acting from the beginning of the video - he's so cute. I'd say his acting skills got better. I don't get that girl, tho - "What is he saying???"... Turn the volume down a little bit, then you'll be able hear him, or you can ask him to speak louder...(Girl, you dumb? You can't just ignore him, he's about to jump)...
And then... another JB appeared, and then... he's in the future, but actually in the past, but in the future...(Wut??). Plot - 'da f is going on' level. In his past life, the girl ignored him, and now she likes him... So, he needs to know that, before he do something crazy in the name of love, that's why JB from the future meets himself in the past.....No wonder why some people are saying that this video is a bit 'darkish'...To die or not to die...
Members had gone through haircut/color rebirth, every each of them (except JB maybe ---wow, ok, drop the beat: 1,2,3...uh, maybe JB, or JB maybe, he still looks the same, but it's JB baby...*I'm sorry, I was carried away by this sudden rhyme)..They look so different/much younger, right now...And I'm not sure that I like it (Jackson's haircut is fine, it suits him...kinda... and for the others -well, let's just say I hope that they'll make some changes for the live performances).

First of all, I really want to point out one thing - both girls are very young, but their vocals/voices are above powerful. I feel like, you can't praise them enough. They still have a long way to go (showbiz-experience wise), but I have no doubt that they'll have a bright future(carrier wise).
As for the music video - That expression -'CUTENESS OVERLOAD' doesn't do it justice here...I can totally see myself jamming to this song/video back in the school days...

How on Earth I'm supposed to organize this post... Agrhhrhrhrhhhh....Too many, too many comebacks this week... :-P (oooh, Kpop, if you could produce songs a little bit slower - no, seriously, Kpop - you need to slow down for your own sake... )... Hyper production is NO GOOD! Ok, girl, compose yourself!!! You can do it! Here we go! 'BEAST' boys are back with a Special 7th mini album 'TIME', and with an MV for the title song - '12:30'. Earlier this year they made a comeback, and this (gift)album took me by surprise, but I like it. The songs are quite emotional, and the members voices makes them even more enjoyable. As for the title track - I get it, harsh break up story, again... but, MV- why u so dark? My favorite member, Doojoon got a lead role in this video, but rather than a normal guy, he seemed a bit psycho-tic...and that's not what I expected... The point of the lyrics is that the two grow apart from each other, and now they are like clock hands at 12:30 - with their backs turned against each other, looking at different places... I can't stop wondering - why the heck is the girl shoeless at 2:06 (it might be because of the height difference...), and who(why) is that topless drummer(there)? Dance and clothes (especially shoes) - flawless! I think it's safe to say now - Hyunseung is my second favorite member of Beast(read coat)...There, I said it. :)
And then...(was it)Yesterday or two days ago?! BTS surprised us with a music video for 'War of Hormone'. Awww, those cutie pies - how adorkable. I was rofl when I heard the song for the first time (long, long time ago, cause it's a song from their latest album). The lyrics are so immature, h/corny and (someinternettrollsaresaying)slightly offensive towards the girls (...and the boys - cause they're implying that all boys are dumb)... BUT, realistically, it's all from a teen-boy perspective - typical teenage thoughts - we've all been teenagers...so keep calm... (blame the hormones)
Again, I like the fashion style they're rockin. Those outfits are cute. And video theme/idea is pretty cool - zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out - on repeat + kind of one take technique. Choreography is my favorite part. Poor trio - Jin, Jimin(!) and Jungkook - are having hard times with those bikes...But how can you resist those smiley faces :) Let's take a moment to appreciate their honesty and straightforwardness!

Oh, yeah...Super Junior released MV for one of the songs from their newest album (if you remember from one of previous *KpopThursdays*, I've reviewed their title song 'Mamacita'). Obviously, they decided to continue promoting this album with a video for - 'This is love'. Apparently, black and white (with a pinch of red) is a trend going on in kpop music videos lately... Pardon my eyeroll (it's starting to annoy me)
SUJU are using a range of props for the choreography this time - chairs, standing mics... And (ofc) they're in a BOX, and (ofc) it's a 'one shot'(one take) video (SM Ent - I really think it's time for some(anykindof) change). Chorus is quite catchy: This is love, this is love...... Can't decide - Leeteuk or Donghae...hmm? tough decision (update: suju released 7th full length special edition album 'THIS IS LOVE' - it has 9 tracks that were already released previously, there are 3 new tracks, and 'This is love' remix for a total of 13 songs...ok, then)
Few days ago, out of nowhere, I reviewed Epik High's 'Born Hater' - As I said before, that song is not a title track... This one is. 'Spoiler' (plus spoiler for the other song 'Happen Ending') is totally different from Born Hater. Here we have three members singing/rapping in the background, looking good, and two actors playing/telling the story. The lyrics are from a guy's perspective - he's not sure -(what the two have)is it love or nothing at all...Mature lyrics - as expected(read here). Everyone can relate.

Ok, I feel the urge to present you one of the greatest alternative (k) hip hop group from Seoul, South Korea, and it's amazing comeback song! (it's not even a title track, it's a pre-release track...amazing shizzz!!!) The group 'Epik High' is composed of Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz. The boys debuted back in 2001, and they're still active. From 2012 this group is under (one of the biggest labels in music industry of S.K) YG Entertainment. They're legends, and you'll soon discover why... The song "Born Hater"(says) is everything kids these days need (to hear)...literally. As I said before - hating is STUPID, unnecessary, and meaningless. Being Hater is your choice...(and again) - it's a stupid one. PERIOD. That's the message of 'Epik High's comeback song. What's even more impressive is that amusing (full of symbolism) MV. This is one extremely good-excellent-outstanding collaboration-song. Must watch. Now!

Pesma 'Born Hater' (Rođen (kao) hejter) je sve što je današnjoj deci potrebno (da čuju)...bukvalno.. Kao što sam i ranije pisala - mržnja je GLUPA, nepotrebna, i besmislena. Sam biraš da budeš hejter, (i ponavljam) to je glup izbor. TAČKA. To je i poruka teksta Epik High-eve comeback pesme. Ono što je još impresivnije je zabavan (i pun simbolike) spot. Tablo je Gordost - sa visine govori o velikim umetnicima (Dali, Van, Pikaso i ostali...zanimljiva činjenica: naslov jedne od Beenzinovih pesama je 'Dali, Van, Pikaso'...) Beenzino je Lenjost - on ništa ne radi, samo sedi, peca... Verbal Jint je Požuda - gleda časopise za odrasle... Mithra je Proždrljivost - oko njega hrana, tone pice... Mino je Gnev - ljut je, ima palicu, gazi stvari, lomi staklo kamere....imamo i 'srednji prst akciju' Bobby je Pohlepa - uživa u novcu, zlatu, slavi....želi više toga Tukutz je Zavist - ne progovara, neprimetan je, ali ispod naočara gleda jadnog B.I-ja B.I je (još uvek) čist, bezgrešan...
