When boredom strikes

me

Few day ago, I saw this cute little pic on my Pinterest feed... My first thought was - Oh, look at me there! You know (well, you probablly don't know) Pandas are my fave, because of... reasons.  They are so cute, unique, and rare - just like me (...)(awkward silence). Yeah...let's proceed. Pandas are such a lovable things - therefore I like them!!! But, this particular one looks a bit bored, doesn't she? (another similarity of ours...ok, I'll stop)
(these days I feel the same, so that's why I keep insisting on the resemblance) Anyway, here is a catch - i dislike being bored. On the other hand, we all have those days, when tossing and turning is pretty much everything we do. So, what to do when boredom strikes? Do something, anything. For example, write/read/think about something you like, like Pandas and stuff. It's simple - when the boredom strikes, we (should) strike back! For the sake of being healthy and happy. For motivation and inspiration. For self growth.

(TheNewYorkTimes-by Sam Howe Verhovek, published May 11, 1987) (my birth year)
"So why are Pandas so cute?...
...But ever since the Chinese Government began sending these endangered animals on goodwill missions, the world has been downright ga-ga about giant pandas.
Ask the people at the zoo, and they say things like ''It's the eyes'' and ''It's the black and the white.'' Ask a behavioral neuroscientist like Dr. Edgar E. Coons, and he will say that giant pandas are the world's most adored animal for a very simple reason: they set off an almost sublime combination of ''hedonic mechanisms.'' 'Cues' to Say 'Ooh' and 'Aah'
The big eyes in their black sockets, the round face, the pug nose, the way giant pandas tumble about like toddlers: ''There is considerable evidence that these things are what are known as innate releasers to our parenting instincts,'' says Dr. Coons, a New York University psychologist who studies the mechanics of pleasure and pain.
Pandas' eyes actually are not that big, but the patches of black make them look huge.
And just as with human babies -and they are cute - pandas' heads are quite large in relation to their bodies. By comparison, small heads on large bodies are unappealing. Nobody thinks rats are cute.
And finally, people are drawn to animals that at least occasionally make an effort to stand up, such as bears and penguins, according to another expert, Dr. Yi-Fu Tuan, a professor at the University of Wisconsin. This is because it reminds people of one of the most joyful sights in life -a baby learning to walk..."
Question - What's so cute about giant pandas ?
Some of the answers:
''..."I just love them."
''They're so cute and they can do all kinds of funny movements.''
''They're so cuddly, just so cuddly."
''They are like a sign of humanity.''
One small boy, though, seemed to be suffering from a malfunction of his hedonic mechanisms. ''Everything here is pandas, pandas, pandas,'' he said, tugging at his mother. ''Isn't there anything else to see?''..."
truth
And like  the cherry on  top... This site, http://www.boredpanda.com/, combines perfectly everything I was talking about. What a coincidence? Scary. Chills.

And yeah, people, feel free to comment.
