Four-member ballad group '2AM' is back with a 3rd full length album 'Let's talk' (notice: 2AM and 2PM are two different groups from the same agency- JYP Ent.)...

Members said that this album has the most emotional and sentimental songs (comparing to the songs on previous albums), and they explained the meaning behind the album name - whoever listens to their album is 'talking' to them through music :). Even though they're ballad singers, they're extremely funny and amusing guys - the cutest- when they tease each other. During the group hiatus, all members do activities outside of a group (variety shows, dramas, solo songs, musicals...). 

Now, onto the new songs! 2AM released two MVs for two touching songs:

The lyrics are beautiful. Their voices are perfect for this autumn weather!(MVs are autumn-appropriate too)

Title song - 'Over the destiny'

'Days like today' - It makes me sad... but in a good way... 

Aaaand... 3rd time in a row (this month I think) - I'm reviewing Super Junior's MV (wow, they're on fire/promote with no regrets :))

Actually, ahmm.... 'Evanesce' is a nice song, but that set looks familiar...? Oh, yeah...it's the one from 'This is love' music video(??!!??!!)...A little bit ruined tho - but still the same. I guess, that wasn't love after all...(do you get it - this is love - not(cuz of the new mv...)(what a joker, ha...). What can I say - same old SM Ent. formula - recycling.

In this one, members showed their acting skills - on that side - I think they did a pretty good job...Eunhyuk and the girl dance part - smooth. Still can't decide - Leeteuk or Donghae?....

I just CAN NOT end this weeks Kpop Thursday without mentioning Epik High's new awesome songs... That group/this album is a treasure find, believe me! (*another post content - spoiler)

How on Earth I'm supposed to organize this post... Agrhhrhrhrhhhh....Too many, too many comebacks this week... :-P (oooh, Kpop, if you could produce songs a little bit slower - no, seriously, Kpop - you need to slow down for your own sake... )... Hyper production is NO GOOD!

Here we go!
'BEAST' boys are back with a Special 7th mini album 'TIME', and with an MV for the title song - '12:30'. Earlier this year they made a comeback, and this (gift)album took me by surprise, but I like it. The songs are quite emotional, and the members voices makes them even more enjoyable. As for the title track - I get it, harsh break up story, again... but, MV- why u so dark? My favorite member, Doojoon got a lead role in this video, but rather than a normal guy, he seemed a bit psycho-tic...and  that's not what I expected... The point of the lyrics is that the two grow apart from each other, and now they are like clock hands at 12:30 - with their backs turned against each other, looking at different places...
I can't stop wondering - why the heck is the girl shoeless at 2:06 (it might be because of the height difference...), and who(why) is that topless drummer(there)?  Dance and clothes (especially shoes) - flawless! I think it's safe to say now - Hyunseung is my second favorite member of Beast(read coat)...There, I said it. :)

And then...(was it)Yesterday or two days ago?! BTS surprised us with a music video for 'War of Hormone'. Awww, those cutie pies - how adorkable. I was rofl when I heard the song for the first time (long, long time ago, cause it's a song from their latest album). The lyrics are so immature, h/corny and (someinternettrollsaresaying)slightly offensive towards the girls (...and the boys - cause  they're implying that all boys are dumb)... BUT, realistically, it's all from a teen-boy perspective - typical teenage thoughts - we've all been teenagers...so keep calm... (blame the hormones)

Again, I like the fashion style they're rockin. Those outfits are cute. And video theme/idea is pretty cool - zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out - on repeat + kind of one take technique. Choreography is my favorite part.  Poor trio - Jin, Jimin(!) and Jungkook - are having hard times with those bikes...But how can you resist those smiley faces :) Let's take a moment to appreciate their honesty and straightforwardness!

Who is next?...

Oh, yeah...Super Junior released MV for one of the songs from their newest album (if you remember from one of previous *KpopThursdays*, I've reviewed their title song  'Mamacita'). Obviously, they decided to continue promoting this album with a video for - 'This is love'. Apparently, black and white (with a pinch of red) is a trend going on in kpop music videos lately... Pardon my eyeroll (it's starting to annoy me) 

SUJU are using a range of props for the choreography this time - chairs, standing mics... And (ofc) they're in a BOX, and (ofc) it's a 'one shot'(one take) video (SM Ent - I really think it's time for some(anykindof) change). Chorus is quite catchy: This is love, this is love...... Can't decide - Leeteuk or Donghae...hmm? tough decision 
(update: suju released 7th full length special edition album 'THIS IS LOVE' - it has 9 tracks that were already released previously, there are 3 new tracks, and 'This is love' remix for a total of 13 songs...ok, then)

Few days ago, out of nowhere, I reviewed Epik High's 'Born Hater' - As I said before, that song is not a title track... This one is. 'Spoiler' (plus spoiler for the other song 'Happen Ending') is totally different from Born Hater. Here we have three members singing/rapping in the background, looking good, and two actors playing/telling the story. The lyrics are from a guy's perspective - he's not sure -(what the two have)is it love or nothing at all...Mature lyrics - as expected(read here). Everyone can relate. 

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Epik High - I LOOOVEEEE!

Epic Epik High

Ok, I feel the urge to present you one of the greatest alternative (k) hip hop group from Seoul, South Korea, and it's amazing comeback song! (it's not even a title track, it's a pre-release track...amazing shizzz!!!)
The group 'Epik High' is composed of Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz. The boys debuted back in 2001, and they're still active. From 2012 this group is under (one of the biggest labels in music industry of S.K) YG Entertainment. They're legends, and you'll soon discover why...

The song "Born Hater"(says) is everything kids these days need (to hear)...literally.
As I said before - hating is STUPID, unnecessary, and meaningless. Being Hater is your choice...(and again) - it's a stupid one. PERIOD. That's the message of  'Epik High's comeback song.

What's even more impressive is that amusing (full of symbolism) MV. This is one extremely good-excellent-outstanding collaboration-song.

Must watch. Now!

Ok, osećam da moram da vam predstavim jednu od najboljih alternativnih k hip hop grupa iz Seoula, Južne Koreje, kao i njihovu odličnu povratničku pesmu!!! (čak nije ni naslovna, već pred-izdanje pesma...dobra stvar!!!)
Grupa Epik High sastoji se od tri člana: Tablo, Mithra Jin, i DJ Tukutz. Momci su debitovali davne 2001. godine, i još uvek su aktivni. Od 2012. godine grupa je pod (jednom od najvećih kompanija muzičke industrije u J.K) YG Entertainment-om. Legende su, a uskoro ćete i otkriti zašto...

Pesma 'Born Hater' (Rođen (kao) hejter) je sve što je današnjoj deci potrebno (da čuju)...bukvalno..
Kao što sam i ranije pisala - mržnja je GLUPA, nepotrebna, i besmislena. Sam biraš da budeš hejter, (i ponavljam) to je glup izbor. TAČKA. To je i poruka teksta Epik High-eve comeback pesme.

Ono što je još impresivnije je zabavan (i pun simbolike) spot. Ovo je jedna vrlo dobra-odlična-izuzetna kolaborativna pesma.

Our vampire-zombie-voodoo (i)dolls are back with "Error". Guess what they're now? Any guesses/ideas/theories? (hint: I'm mean...c'mon...Error)

I don't have to explain the plot, right? It's simple - Hongbin (lead roll - congrats! - as expected.. after all - he is one of the rising acting-dols) works for the government on this thing... cyborg project(?), suddenly he loses the love of his life, makes a cyborg of himself, and ocf of her...illegally, gets caught... and then they died... (but this time - together)...End. That girl is actually a new member of a girl group Kara (I mentioned her before...). Her name is Youngji, and I'm glad that she showed some acting skills in this MV, Cute.

About the lyrics - Well, check them out here - I feel that the lyrics and the music video story are slightly disconnected, do you? I love the lyrics, anyway...So, let's move on...

The dance - ooohhoohohoo... you can't not love Vixx's choreographies - that chorus part when they go: oh oh oh - that running in the same spot - is my favorite part of choreo...and that "unplugging" at the end - coooool. Outfits - black and white(with a pinch of red), as the video is - very nice. Again, Leo is just..........!!! He remains mysterious (oh, If you are not sure which one them is Leo - main vocal, starts to sing at 0:40). Not sure about Ravi's hat (?)...That thing is horrendous! I like his new short hair, tho.

One thing's for sure - Dark Princes are back!

Naši vampiri-zombiji-vudu idoli su se vratili sa pesmom 'Error'. Pogodite šta su sada? Ima li neko ideju, teoriju...(pomoć:...ma dajte...Error)

Ne moram da objašnjavam radnju spota, zar ne? Jednostavno je - Hongbin (glavna uloga...čestitke...nije ni čudo - on je jedan od idola-glumaca u usponu) radi za državu na toj stvari....kiborg projektu, ali iznenada gubi ljubav svog života, pravi od sebe robota, kao i od nje...ali ilegalno, uhvate ga, i na kraju oboje umiru (ali ovaj put-zajedno). Kraj. Ta devojka je, inače, nova članica ženske grupe Kara (koju sam već spominjala ranije). Ime joj je Youngji, i baš mi je drago da  je pokazala svoje glumačke sposobnosti u spotu - pokazala je još jednu stranu svoje ličnosti, a to će se, čini se, dopasti starim, a i novim fanovima grupe Kara. Slatkica.

Što se tiče teksta - Možete ga pročitati klikom na link u eng delu teksta gore...Ja osećam blagu diskonekciju između teksta i spota, a vi? U svakom slučaju, dopada mi se tekst...tako da možemo nastaviti...

Ples - ne možete ne voleti Vixx koreografije - omiljeni deo mi je onaj oko refrena kada pevaju: oh oh oh - ono trčanje u mestu....i "isključivanje" na kraju je moćno.

Autfiti - crno-beli(i malo crvene), kao i sam video - lepo. Opet...Leo je..........!!! Ostaje misteriozan (ako niste sigurni koji je od njih Leo - glavni vokal, počinje da peva na 0:40).  Nisam sigurna baš za Ravijevu kapu(?)...Ta stvar je užasna... Ali, dopada mi se njegova nova kratka kosa.

Jedna stvar je sigurna - Crni prinčevi (kako ih fanovi nazivaju) su se vratili.

Monday story time!

Yesterday, I was having a random conversation with my friend J. It was one of those talks about politics, economy, ethics, society, and other (boring) stuff...cause we're, you know, adults (oh, how I dislike that word - people made it sound threatening). And when  you are one - those topics are inevitable.

It's not adult world that sucks (ok, sometimes does sucks, like what the f is going on with wars, violence...etc ) - it's a natural thing to grow up, to grow older, (in some (rare) cases) to grow wiser (let's be honest here - most of the people has/will never/ever take a step into the wisdom, because they're completely satisfied with being robots or puppets(marionettes)). 

Anyway - being an adult(in your own way!) is interesting as much as being a carefree and clueless kid. It's a matter of perspective. 

As I said - we were talking about those exhausting things...but we didn't failed to add this sentence to the end of our conversation - Yeah, this/that sucks, but one day, one fine day we're gonna.....(filled with some amazing dreams/plans).

You know what I mean - It's really surprising how little reminders (friendly encouragements) like this one can give you so much hope - hope that better days are almost here, like - around the corner.

Believing in that - alone, or with someone - would give you strength to overcome all the   hardships of being an adult.

Simply, do not turn off your ability to imagine. Don't forget your dreams. Believe. Don't throw away/miss all the fun...you don't want that. Don't give up, because One day, One Fine Day...you're gonna __________(fill in the blank). Ok? Picture that now, and smile.

Smile today for a better tomorrow!

Vreme je za Ponedeljak priču

Juče sam vodila jedan 'ničim izazvan' razgovor sa J. Bio je to jedan od onih razgovora o politici, ekonomiji, etici, društvu, i drugim (dosadnim) stvarima...jer smo mi, znate, odrasle (uh, kako ne volim tu reč - ljudi su učinili da zvuči kao pretnja). A kada si jedan od njih(odraslih) - ove teme su neizbežne.

Nije svet odraslih ono što je ružno (ok, nekad jeste - jer šta se, za ime sveta, dešava sa ratovima, nasiljem...itd) - prirodna je stvar odrasti, stariti, u nekim (vrlo retkim slučajevima) postati mudriji (da budemo iskreni ovde - većina ljudi nije nikad/niti će napraviti korak ka mudrosti, jer su potpuno zadovoljni time da budu roboti ili lutke(marionete)).

U svakom slučaju - biti odrasla ličnost(na tvoj način!) je interesantno isto koliko i biti bezbrižno i naivno dete. To je stvar je perspektive. 

Kao što sam rekla - pričale smo o tim iscrpljujućim stvarima, ali nismo propustile da na kraju razgovora dodamo i ovu rečenicu - Da, ovo/ono je s...nje, ali jednog dana, jednog lepog dana.....(popunjeno nekim cudesnim snovima/planovima). 

Znate na šta mislim - Iznenađujuće je kako mali podsetnici (prijateljska ohrabrenja) kao što je ovaj, mogu da vam daju nadu - nadu da su bolji dani tu, iza ugla.

Verovanje u to - bilo sami, ili zajedno sa nekim - daće vam snagu da prevaziđete sve teškoće koje podrazumeva svet odraslih.

Jednostavno, ne isključujte sposobnost da maštate. Ne zaboravite svoje snove. Verujte. Ne odbacujte/propuštajte svu zabavu...to ne želite. Ne odustajte, jer Jednog Dana, Jednog Lepog Dana, vi ćete ________(popunite prazninu). Ok? Zamislite to sada, i nasmejte se.

Awkward!!

Things aren't that exciting this week...(at least for me)

I'd say this week was 'solo artists comeback' week - really, most of  the comebacks were solo singers cbs (some of them I know/don't know)...Like..Roy Kim released MV for 'Home'(remember him, I've mentioned him in #SoloMaleArtistskEdition, I think it was Part 2)...Anyway, nice song, nice video. He really has unique style...I mean his music/voice/emotion sounds so.....what's the right word - vintagy?...mature?... old time kind of feel?(probably not the right words...but you get what I mean...). Also, a few female singers are back with their respective songs: 
Juniel - Please (it's OST for the Korean release of the Japanese movie 'Still the water'....sad, very sad...and such a sweet voice).
Younha - Wasted (omg, you can feel all the hopelessness after the break up in that voice, and MV makes the melancholy even more stronger..).
Raina - You End, And Me (what a title?...ok...Like Younha's, this song is also about the end of  a relationship..but in this case, Raina got dumped...coldly! This time she collaborated with rapper Kanto (of TROY), but I prefer her previous collaboration with rapper San E - that song was the cutest thing ever...if you're interested, here it is AMidsammerNight'sSweetness)

I just realized - all the songs are so sorrowful...What the...?

Let's change things a little bit...
This is Ailee's comeback song 'Don't touch me'. The song was released two weeks ago, it's an old(er) comeback, I know...BUT we have special situation right now...a rain of gloomy song in this post, so lemme show you some 'girl power'song, instead. FunFact - She change 12 outfits in this video. (she still promotes this song in music shows)

Long time, no SoloMaleArtistkEditionPart3!!!

I'm here now... IT'S PARTY TIMEEEEEE!!! (lame)

Ra.D - (real name Lee Doo Hyun)- 80liner, singer-songwriter, producer. Debuted in 2002, and gained attention for unique mix of musical styles (R&B, soul, hip-hop) in his music. To be honest, my favorite Ra.D's songs are the ones from his mini-album 'LittleTalk' and 3rd album 'Soundz', even though I discovered him(last year) through this song 'I'm in love' performed by Narsha (her solo debut single was actually a remake of Ra.D's song from his 2nd album). Really unique voice and indie kind of vibe. Loooveee

K.Will - 81liner, ballad singer, songwriter, radio DJ, vocal coach, debuted in 2006. He has done a lots of collaborations and drama soundtracks. His newest track 'Day 1' is such a sweet song...He says that he doesn't look like a singer, cause he's not handsome and stuff, but I think that he's is just right. "Please Don't" is my favorite....wait till the end of the video...it will blow your mind...

JooYoung - he is an accomplished singer and songwriter in the underground scene (interesting). He's about twenty two-three years old (unconfirmed). JooYoung has released a few songs, but he gained attention after he covered Jeff Bernat's 'Call You Mine' (I saw him performing this song in some variety show - and fell in love with him instantly). And just recently, I discovered that I already knew him (ha) - this is the song that I've put in my favorites long time ago(2013)...who'd tell - we've met again - 'Popstar'. Lovelylovelylovely song - From me to you...

Beenzino - last, but not the least...another 87liner, rapper and MC (well, that's new, ha?)...He has been active from 2009, and currently he's under Illionaire Records (formed by well known rappers TheQuiett and Dok2 in 2011, they're also a really good friends). Beenzino has collaborated with many other artists (K.Will, Lee Hyori, Junggigo). Two albums: 24:26(2012) and UpAllNight(2014). Been(zino...see what I did there) loving  'How Do I Look?' from the newest album - the lyrics are so cute, but he is cuter...Omg...he's so asfjghgjgjhfkhfk....(compose yourself woman!!). And now... I can't decide which song to put down here, cause I love these two equally....hmmm, 'If I Die Tomorrow' is such a meaningful song, it's about his life and difficulties that he's been going through - it's a great great song...somehow...I can relate. And then, we have this one, about LOVE - I like how he sounds emotional in this one - #goodlyrics.

It's time for Part 2 of SoloMaleArtistskEdition...wooot wooot!!!

I'm curious to know did you guys liked the previous-previous post(part1), and which one from the mentioned four (amazing) singers you like (the best)? I'm really curious. (Maybe you didn't like them at all (which is - from my point of view - impossible)....If so, why?)

(this is me encouraging you to comment, to say your opinion - cause I'll appreciate it) 

Now, let's start with:

Jay Park (Park Jaebeom) - 87liner, (brace yourselves) singer, dancer, rapper, b-boy, music producer, songwriter, model, choreographer, and actor, and a member of the AOM (Art of Movement) - b-boy crew from Seattle. (if that wasn't enough) He is co-CEO of his own record label AOMG (acronym that stands for the "Above Ordinary Music Group". Former member (leader) of the kpopgroup (I've mentioned before in Kpopthursday series) 2PM. Without further ado.... here is "Metronome"(or you can check out this sweet song "Girlfriend" from his early years)

Junsu (aka XIA) - 86liner , (here we go again) singer, songwriter, dancer, musical actor. He is a member of kpop group JYJ, and was one of the original members of TVXQ (really big kpop group it was....but after the lawsuit against SM company, three members formed new group JYJ, and two other original members still promote by the name of tvxq). That voice....'Uncommitted' is my favorite. This two are also precious: "Tarantallegra" and "11am" (artsy to the bone, love him)

Jun.K - 88liner, main vocalist of 2PM, (and again) composer, songwriter, musical actor. Like XIA, he is active member of a group, but he is also a solo artist (album 'Alive'). I looooove....adore his digital single "No love".... Emotions, emotions everywhere!!! He looks serious, but he's one crazy funny "grandpa" (members named him "granpa", cause he's the oldest, which you'd never tell, if you look at groups newest song "Go Crazy", that he produced...(again - Kpopthursday series)

Taeyang - (aka Sol, like Sun, or YB) another 88liner, (it's a little bit awkward, but I have to say...again): dancer, songwriter, recording artist, choreographer, model. Member of one of the biggest kpop group Big Bang, Needless to say - vocalist. Lots of singles, two big solo albums ( 'Solar'(2010) and 'Rise'(2014), mini and live concert albums, Japanese albums...a very busy man).  From the latest album "Eyes, nose, lips".....big hit! He likes to be shirtless, please understand*__*. Don't miss to check out "Wedding dress" and "Body VogueVer.". OMG, don't miss "Ringa Linga" either.

How about these four cutiepies?

And I have only one comeback this week to talk about..

Well... then ....let's do this!

BTOB is back with this cute song... Why, why again??? Cute concepts are not my fave. 

Things I don't like (neither I hate): concept of the MV is similar to previous 'BeepBeep' song, I have a feeling that the set for both music videos is the same, with some changes here and there. Even the clothes haven't change much. I mean, casual clothing is ok, every member has his own style (thanks cordi noonas for that), but somehow it lowers the effort that has been put into the comeback. On the other hand, it matches well with the concept, so ...ok, I get it, it's fine. The plot, tho...I mean, wtf....pretty girl vs. ugly girl, a potion that twist their minds, craziness...It's fun....I guess.

Anyway...let's continue with good things. 

Things that I like about the 'You're so fly': dance moves are freakin cute, as well as the members all acting and sheeeez...(scenes with Changsub and Eunkwang are hilarious, cause they're the craziest!). Aside from dance, I also like chorus part (lyrics wise), and music - it's a retro-dance song, catchy rhythm, makes you wanna move. Chorus goes: "You're so fly, from your head, shoulders, waist and legs. You're so fly, your softly smiling face. My heart races after looking at you, It doesn't know how to stop, I'm not joking, you're so fly", and then my favorite (lyrics and dance) part - la, la, la, la, la, la..... 

What can I say - they are extremely cute.

A ja imam samo jedan comeback ove nedelje, da o njemu pričam.

Dobro....onda...da odradimo to!

BTOB su se vratili sa ovom slatkom pesmicom... Zašto, zašto...opet taj koncept??? Slatki koncepti mi nisu omiljeni....

Stvari koje mi se ne dopadaju (ali ih ne mrzim): ceo spot mi liči na spot prethodne pesme 'Beep Beep'. Imam osećaj da je isti set u pitanju, sa sitnim promenama. Čak je i odeća slična. Mislim, ok je to kežual odevanje, svaki član ima neki svoj stil i to (kordi nune hvala), ali nekako to umanjuje trud i napor uložen u čitav posao oko comeback-a. Sa druge strane, dobro se uklapa sa konceptom pesme, tako da...ono...razumem, ok je, dobro je, nije loše. Sama priča videa je -šta se, kog đavola, događa-fazon...lepa devojka protiv ružne...napitak koji im pomuti razum, ludilo... Interesantno je, valjda....

Ali da ipak nastavimo sa dobrim stvarima. 

Stvari koje mi se dopadaju u 'You're so fly': koreografija je preslatka, kao i članovi koji tu nešto glumataju (najbolje scene su sa Changsub-om i Eunkwang-om, jer su oni najluđi!). Pored dance-a, dopada mi se refren (što se tiče teksta), i muzika - retro-dance, pokreće dancera u vama. Tekst (refren) ide:....(uf, da ne prevodim sad)...Uglavnom, omiljeni deo mi je, i što se pokreta tiče onaj - la, la, la, la, la.....

Šta drugo da kažem - ekstremno su slatki!

Btob dečaci, ova nuna vas voli i podržava bez obzira na sve! Samo napred!
